ChatGPT the inference machine
If you have seen some of my prior posts you have seen me poke fun at ChatGPT, but now I will show an example of how powerful ChatGPT is at inferring, and acquiring context, from a potentially ambiguous dataset.
If you have a background in equities data, you will recognize the ticker for Microsoft, a date column, and some other columns that most likely represent a stock's value. But, it needs to be made obvious which is which, and it would take some time to determine the relationship between columns and their appropriate names.
After this assessment, you could prompt ChatGPT to generate the SQL to create an appropriate table for this data targeting a number of different databases or prompt for the proper json schema.
